While the latest development of array cameras has realized the gigapixel videography of large-scale dynamic scenes, the corresponding computer vision tasks remain unsolved, restricted by the extremely high spatial resolution, signiﬁcant scale variation, huge data throughput. How can AI help with the array camera to achieve REAL smart? Along with the revolution of high performance imag- ing, what are the opportunities and challenges for computer vision? They are open questions demanding prompt solutions.
To this end, we solicit original and ongoing research addressing the topics listed below (but not limited to):
Speciﬁcally, half-day presentations from keynote speakers and challenges will be held. The tentative speakers include Prof. Silvio Savarese (Stanford University), Prof. Shaogang Gong (Queen Mary University of London), Prof. Stanley Chan (Purdue University), Prof. Eric R. Fossum (Dartmouth University), Prof. Ren Ng (University of California, Berkeley), and Prof. Ming-Hsuan Yang (University of California, Merced). The challenge covers large-scale object detection and long-term multi-object tracking on PANDA.
